Overview
New Horizons is a dating sim and visual novel for players who want a character-focused harem story with a calmer, slice-of-life pace.
Story
After a personal tragedy, the protagonist moves in with an old family friend to start over. The move opens the door to a new town and a new cast of people, each carrying their own history, and the story follows how those relationships develop over time.
Gameplay
Play moves between a set of hangout spots, including a mall, beach, park, cafe, burger joint, school, and town streets, where the player chooses where to go and who to spend time with. Conversations and repeated visits build familiarity with individual characters, gradually opening up new scenes and story beats tied to each one. The structure leans on point-and-click navigation and sandbox-style free time rather than a fixed linear path.

- i made a social media app in game called 'yappr' where u can like and interact with posts as they appear throughout the story. ts is a way bigger project than i planned tho sooo im a lot behind, but itll all be worth it. this is basically only for immersion and extra world building
