New Hope is a visual novel dating sim for players who want a grounded, character-focused romance story with a school setting. The tone stays personal and quiet, more about hidden feelings than spectacle.

Story

Justin is an 18-year-old high school senior keeping two secrets close as he counts down to graduation and college. One of them is that he's gay, something he's managed to hide all year. When he loses his songbook, he ends up messaging a mystery guy who turns out to share that same secret, and the exchange starts to pull at the other thing Justin's been hiding.

Gameplay

Players follow Justin through his final stretch of senior year, making dialogue choices that shape his conversations with the mystery guy and the people around him at school. Scenes move between school life and private messaging exchanges, with choices affecting how relationships develop and how much Justin reveals about himself. The pace stays close to Justin's point of view, with no combat or resource systems to manage outside the story itself.
