Overview

Mystery of Magic is a 3D adult adventure for players who want a fantasy academy setting with a lighter, parody-leaning tone. It suits players who enjoy sandbox-style character interactions over a tightly scripted plot.

Story

Professor Doubleroar has been teleported away by "The Dark Seekers," leaving his academy without a leader. With the Higher Administration barring students under 18 from attending classes during this crisis, the player is placed in charge as director, left to manage the school and its remaining occupants through the disruption.

Gameplay

As director, the player moves through the academy in a point-and-click sandbox, meeting students and staff and building up interactions with them over time. Progress comes through exploring rooms, talking to characters, and unlocking new scenes and activities as relationships develop. Light puzzle and mini-game elements are mixed into the day-to-day routine of running the school.
