Overview
My Countryside Girlfriend is a visual novel for players who want dark corruption stories with a betrayal twist. The tone stays tense and voyeuristic rather than lighthearted.
Story
You and a friend build an algorithm that can hypnotize anyone. What you don't know is that your friend is quietly rewriting your commands for his own ends. The game follows what happens as his interference spreads to the people around you, including your girlfriend, and whether any of them can escape it.
Gameplay
You play as the male protagonist, using the hypnosis system on people in your life while also secretly watching what your girlfriend does when she thinks no one is looking. Choices shape different routes and outcomes as the mind-control effects deepen, with some paths shifting control away from you entirely and letting you experience the results from the other side.
