Morningstar: Book of the Fallen is a 3D adult visual novel and RPG for players who want a dark urban fantasy story with combat woven into the romance. The tone is gritty and cinematic, with enough humor to keep it from taking itself too seriously.

Story

You play a young MMA fighter whose ordinary life ends the moment he meets an Angel. That encounter pulls him into a hidden war between Heaven and the forces of the Night, one that awakens supernatural blood he didn't know he had. Drawing on the same tone as Highlander and The Crow, the story follows him as he's forced to pick a side while the city around him turns increasingly dangerous.

Gameplay

The game runs on a sandbox structure: you move through a New York setting, take on side quests, and choose how to spend your time between combat and downtime with the women in the fighter's life. Combat plays out in turn-based encounters, and the world includes puzzle sections alongside the usual exploration and dialogue-driven scenes. Character growth ties into how you split your time, letting you shape the fighter's abilities as the larger conflict unfolds.
