Overview

Mood Affect is a visual novel dating sim for players who want corporate drama mixed with romance. The tone leans dramatic, with moments of tension between duty and desire.

Story

Elliot Spencer works as a Fixer for the Castel Group, sent to handle situations too delicate for anyone else. His latest posting at the Brittany Hub puts him between Board pressure and a team of specialists who each carry their own history, and keeping the job professional gets harder as personal feelings take hold.

Gameplay

Players guide Elliot through his assignment, moving between story dialogue and choices that shape his standing with the Board and with the specialists around him. Progress unfolds through a sandbox structure, letting players revisit locations and characters to advance individual storylines at their own pace. Choices steer which relationships deepen and how the political side of the job plays out.

Better Dialogues : Just like with the previous x.x.5 version, I'm continuing to rework older dialogue. This time focusing on the Paradise mission.
Reshoot : Good dialogue is great, but better renders are even better! I’ve reshot the intro dialogue images with Charlotte. The old renders had several issues and felt a bit too static compared to more recent scenes.
UX/UI improvements : Thanks to your feedback on Patreon and the forums, which helps me identify friction points, I've decided to add a helpful label under the time icon during freeroam.
Multilingual Support : A massive amount of work went into this feature. The game is now fully translatable (including all dialogue, UI text, navigation images, etc.), and I’ve added a first version of the French translation.
