Mankitsu Happening

Mankitsu Happening is a 2D visual novel for players who enjoy workplace-based adult comedy with a lighter, situational tone. It's built around one running joke and follows through on it.

Story

Keiichi Oyamada finally lands steady work at a small manga cafe, joining his best friend as manager, working alongside coworker Rei Suzukawa, and reconnecting with his childhood friend Kururu Hiiragi, now a regular customer. He hopes this job will be different, but the same pattern that ended his past employment keeps resurfacing: he can't seem to stop ending up in bed with the women around him.

Gameplay

Play unfolds as a linear-branching visual novel set mostly around the cafe and its staff, moving between everyday shifts and the situations that repeatedly derail them. Dialogue choices steer which coworkers Keiichi grows closer to and shape how each thread of the story resolves, leading toward one of several possible endings.
