Overview
MalOvent is an adult horror visual novel for players who want dread and romance mixed together in a monster-girl story. The tone stays tense and unsettling, with quiet moments of intimacy breaking up the fear.
Story
The game draws on the SCP-1471 mythos, following a male protagonist who begins noticing something wrong with the world around him. As he digs for answers, the choices he makes shape both his fate and the fate of those close to him, pushing toward one of several possible endings.
Gameplay
Play moves through dialogue and branching choices in visual-novel form, with decisions affecting later scenes and which ending is reached. Between story beats, the protagonist's growing relationship with the monster girl at the center of events unfolds through both dialogue and animated intimate scenes. A gallery lets players revisit key events once they've been seen.
