Mad Island

Mad Island is a 2D RPG survival adventure for players who want horror and monster encounters mixed into a sandbox setting. The tone is grim and adult-oriented, built around danger as much as discovery.

Story

A boat trip ends when the vessel strikes a rock and sinks, separating a group of friends. The player wakes alone on an unfamiliar island and meets another survivor there, and together they set out to search for the missing friends and find a way off the island.

Gameplay

Players manage day-to-day survival on the island, gathering resources and making choices about how to explore, fight, and interact with the creatures and people they encounter. Combat and strategy elements come into play against monsters and other threats, while character creation lets players shape who they're guiding through the ordeal.
