Lust Shards is a monster girl dating sim for players who like academy settings with a mix of romance and danger. The tone leans playful but keeps an undercurrent of tension throughout.

Story

Recruited by a prestigious academy for Hunters, the protagonist finds his abilities and looks drawing attention from a wide cast of students and staff. A new headmaster has introduced a start-of-year test meant to weed out weaker Hunters, and failing it means losing the love interests entirely. Alongside the test, the protagonist has to untangle the academy's hidden motives and make sense of a strange new companion who may not be entirely imaginary.

Gameplay

Players choose between four main romance paths, each tied to a distinct personality, and work through story scenes to build affection with their chosen love interest. Progress is shaped by decisions that affect standing with different characters and by preparing for the academy's pass-or-fail test, which puts those relationships at risk. Outside of dialogue and choices, the game follows a straightforward visual novel structure focused on getting to know the cast and moving the plot forward.
