Story

Graceford has always run on tradition, but the arrival of a new mayor and a wave of political change begins to shake the town's old certainties. As new ideas about race and sexuality enter everyday conversation, a soft-spoken young man, his girlfriend, and his mother are each pulled toward feelings and questions they've spent their lives suppressing. The story follows how the town, and the people in it, respond to a shift that has already changed other places before it reached them.

Gameplay

The game plays as a kinetic visual novel told through 3D-rendered scenes, following a male protagonist as the town's story unfolds around him. Rather than branching choices, it focuses on reading through character moments and relationship tension as the plot moves forward.
