Overview
Long Story Short is a visual novel-style dating sim for players who enjoy slow-burn corruption stories with a mix of romance and drama. The tone shifts between lighthearted friendship moments and more explicit, morally loose territory.
Story
The player takes on the role of a socially withdrawn guy who prefers his computer to real relationships. When his best friend Joe pulls him out of that comfort zone, he's introduced to Joe's girlfriend Vanessa and her shy friend Ann. From there, his choices decide whether he builds something genuine with Ann, pushes her toward corruption, or pursues Vanessa despite her relationship with Joe.
Gameplay
Progress moves through dialogue and choice-driven scenes with the women introduced early in the story, where decisions affect how each relationship develops over time. Some interactions depend on prior choices, like whether the player has grown closer to a character or witnessed certain moments, which can open or close paths later. - Fixed the issue where the game stopped during Ann’s texts instead of showing the game end screen.
- Fixed an issue where rolling back and then clicking advance sometimes caused the music to change unexpectedly.
