Life in Alphaville

Life in Alphaville is an animated adult visual novel and sandbox hybrid for players who like slow-building family drama with an explicit edge. The tone shifts from everyday domestic scenes to much heavier material depending on the path chosen.

Story

The player character has just relocated to Alphaville with his new blended family, expecting a fresh start. That simple move quickly turns into something more tangled, as hidden desires and secrets among the people around him surface. How those relationships play out depends on the gamemode chosen — a devoted harem, a naturally evolving set of relationships, or one where others act on their own wants regardless of what the protagonist wants.

Gameplay

The game runs on a daily cycle split into morning, midday, evening, and night, with different events tied to each time slot. Players can switch between a guided visual-novel style or a freer sandbox approach, taking on jobs, training stats like strength, intelligence, and charisma, and attending classes that each come with their own small minigame. Progress through these systems opens up character events and animated scenes that shift based on the gamemode and choices made along the way.
