Leela The Traveler is a 2D RPG adventure for players who want a monster-girl fantasy world with a darker, exploitative edge. The tone is grim and explicit rather than lighthearted.

Story

Leela takes on crushing debt to pay for treatment for her sick fiancé, Johan. To pay it off, she leaves her home village and travels to the royal capital, where she intends to use her magical talent to earn the money she needs. What happens to her there shapes the rest of her journey.

Gameplay

Players guide Leela through the capital and its surrounding areas in a sandbox structure, taking on jobs, fights, and encounters to work toward paying off her debt. Combat runs on a turn-based system, while exploration and choices outside battle determine which situations Leela ends up in and how her story branches. Multiple endings reward different approaches to her debt and the people she deals with along the way.
