Inquisitor Trainer is a 2D adult adventure for players who want a dark sci-fi setting with dating-sim elements. The tone is seedy and irreverent rather than grim.

Story

A young inquisitor is sent to investigate a string of disappearances among city officials, cases that point toward a hidden heretical cult. Without formal training or proper equipment, she has to rely on improvised, unconventional methods to get answers, a choice that pushes her investigation down increasingly compromising paths and eventually splits into separate story directions depending on where her loyalties end up.

Gameplay

Play unfolds as point-and-click investigation mixed with dialogue and story choices, moving between city locations to question people, gather leads, and decide how far the protagonist is willing to go to get information. Turn-based combat encounters break up the exploration, and a quest log helps track the ongoing case work. Choices steer the character toward heretic or loyalist leanings, shaping which scenes and endings become available.
