Independent Horizons is a 3D dating sim for players who like grounded family drama mixed with campus and workplace romance. It plays out with a calm, character-focused tone rather than heavy melodrama.

Story

Tom, adopted as an infant by Mr. and Mrs. Cruz, grew up alongside their biological daughter Pauline in a loving household. Now 20 and legally an adult, he wants to move out on his own and support himself through school and a part-time job, while a separate pull draws him toward learning about his biological family and whether he has any siblings out there.

Gameplay

Players guide Tom through daily choices at school, work, and home, balancing his search for independence with the people around him. Conversations and point-and-click exploration lead to branching interactions with a cast of women, including Pauline and others tied to his new adult life, with animated scenes marking key relationship moments.
