Overview

In Their Own Hands is a dating sim for players who want a grounded look at modern relationship choices, with a calm and reflective tone throughout.

Story

The game follows a married couple, a 27-year-old husband and his 25-year-old wife, as their relationship is tested by decisions both large and small. Playing mainly as the husband, you shape how the marriage evolves, but your wife acts on her own will too, and her choices don't always follow your plans. The path can stay faithful or drift into cheating, sharing, swinging, or cuckolding, depending on what's chosen along the way.

Gameplay

You guide the husband through daily routines and unexpected situations, making choices that steer the marriage toward openness, tension, or betrayal. Each decision carries weight, and the wife's own autonomy means outcomes aren't fully predictable even when you try to control them. The game tracks these choices across branching paths, so the same starting point can lead to very different relationship dynamics over time.
