Story

Dying from an accident, the protagonist is offered a deal by a passing devil named Jack-O: host her in his body for a week and search for a treasure called the Ice Heart. Find it in time and he lives; fail, and his body belongs to the devil. Stripped of memory and even his own name, he's given the nickname "O," and the two become bound together as they chase down the jewel that will decide whether he lives or dies.

Gameplay

Players guide O through his search for the Ice Heart while managing turn-based combat encounters along the way. The journey exposes him to corruption, mind control, and coercion from the people and creatures he meets, with story scenes shifting depending on how those encounters play out. Progress ties directly to the week-long deadline set by Jack-O, giving each stretch of exploration a sense of running out of time.
