Hokkaido Fox

Hokkaido Fox is a 2D visual novel for players who enjoy fantasy stories with fox-spirit lore and mind-control themes. It plays with a calm, slightly mysterious tone rather than going for comedy or drama.

Story

Barred from both heaven and hell, the protagonist has no clear place to belong. His search for answers leads him to a shrine in Japan, where clues about his fate and the supernatural forces around him begin to surface.

Gameplay

Players move through story chapters told in still 2D artwork, making dialogue and decision choices that shape which encounters and endings they see. Along the way, the protagonist crosses paths with various women, including kitsune spirits and other supernatural figures, in scenes shaped by mind control and fantasy elements. Choices affect which characters become closer to the protagonist and how later scenes and endings play out.
