Overview
Hero's Companion is a fantasy visual novel for players who like slower, choice-driven stories with a dating-sim edge. The tone leans earnest and a little uncertain, fitting a tale about proving one's place.
Story
A young man joins a rising hero's party as a companion, facing trials that test his will and loyalty. His choices steer how the other members see him, and whether he stays part of the group or ends up exiled from it. The path ahead is uncertain, and the story leaves open where each character will stand by its end.
Gameplay
Play unfolds through text-based scenes and dialogue choices that shape relationships within the hero's party and the direction of the overall story. Decisions affect how characters react and what paths open up later, with an event-tracking feature to help follow where the story has gone. Some moments lean into teasing or voyeuristic situations rather than direct control of combat or exploration.
