Overview
HenPri: Hentai Prison is a visual novel for players who want a dark comedic setting with adult content. The tone mixes absurd humor with a harsher prison backdrop.
Story
Shuichiro Minato, a young man from Tokyo, is arrested one winter night for what he calls an act of artistic self-expression. The court disagrees, and he is sentenced to ten years in Tulip Prison, an isolated island facility reserved for inmates the justice system has given up on. Surrounded by dangerous and eccentric fellow prisoners, he has to find a way to get through his sentence, whether that means resisting the system or making an uneasy peace with it.
Gameplay
Play unfolds as a text-driven visual novel, following Shuichiro through daily life inside Tulip Prison and the choices he makes when dealing with guards and other inmates. Decisions shape his relationships and standing within the prison, leading toward one of several possible endings. The pacing stays close to dialogue and scene-based progression rather than open exploration.
