Heatwave

Heatwave is a 2D side-scrolling shooter for players who want fast adult combat over a slow-building story. It plays quick and stays focused on pressure and reflexes.

Gameplay

Players buy weapons and ammo between rounds, then dodge and fight off waves of enemies trying to drain their energy before it runs out. Survival gets harder as enemies grow tougher, pushing players to manage ammo, positioning, and upgrades to last through each wave. Defeated enemies can be finished off for extra loot, feeding back into the arsenal.
