Overview
Heartstrings is a visual novel with light RPG and sandbox elements for players who want a slow-building school romance with a grounded setting. The tone stays personal and character-driven rather than fantastical.
Story
A young man relocates to a new town after family troubles, determined to focus on his studies and win a scholarship. That plan gets complicated as he settles into his new school and starts crossing paths with people whose presence in his life turns out to matter more than he expected.
Gameplay
Play unfolds through point-and-click navigation and dialogue choices as the protagonist balances schoolwork with a growing circle of relationships. Days move through a sandbox structure, letting the player decide who to spend time with and how those connections develop, with 3D-rendered scenes and animation illustrating key moments along the way.
