Overview
Harvest Girls Garden Assault is a 2D management-defense game for players who want strategy layered with adult monster content. The tone is playful and a little raunchy, built around quick decisions under pressure.
Gameplay
You play a farmer girl who plants human-looking monster girls across a garden plot, spending money to place them and earning it back once they mature enough to harvest. Insect monsters raid the garden during the day and attack in greater numbers at night, so you have to balance growing your plants with fending off the assault using the farmer girl's own combat abilities. The loop is about timing: expand your garden when it's safe, then hold the line when it isn't.
Features
- Defense-strategy structure built around planting, growing, and harvesting instead of standard tower placement
- Day/night attack cycle that changes the pressure and pacing of each round
- Animated 2D art for the monster girls and combat encounters
- Adult content woven directly into the combat and harvest mechanics rather than kept separate
Installation
1. Extract and run.
Changelog
v2025-09-11
- We have an important update to share with everyone who has been following and supporting our game. Starting today, our title is now completely free to download and play on Itch.io. This wasn’t a decision made lightly, but one that comes after recent challenges connected to an ongoing issue between Itch.io and the activist group Collective Shout.
- For those who may not know, Collective Shout has been vocal in pushing platforms like Itch.io to take stronger stances on content moderation, particularly around adult or controversial games. While we fully support efforts to create safer spaces online, the resulting pressure on Itch.io has created an environment where many smaller, independent developers like us are caught in the crossfire. Certain games—including ours—were flagged, restricted, or placed under heavier scrutiny without much transparency.
- Rather than allow this situation to slow down our momentum or place barriers between our work and the players who want to experience it, we’ve decided to remove the price tag altogether. Making the game free is both a statement and a solution: a way to ensure that everyone who is curious about our project can still access it regardless of what happens behind the scenes.
- This shift is also about community. Independent games thrive because of the people who play them, talk about them, and share them with others. By removing the financial barrier, we hope more players will dive in, spread the word, and help the game live on in the way it was always meant to—through shared curiosity and creativity.
- That being said, development isn’t free. If you’d still like to support us, we encourage you to leave a donation on our Itch.io page or follow our upcoming projects. Every bit of support—whether through word of mouth, feedback, or contributions—helps us keep building the strange, experimental worlds that our fans know us for.
- In short: the game is free now, not because we wanted to undercut its value, but because we believe accessibility and resilience matter more than ever. Thank you for standing with us, and for continuing to explore the worlds we create.
