Story

Kurou was raised in the underworld and worked as an enforcer before his arrest, after which he chose to break away and start over. He settles into a new life with Ren, the girl who lost her sight protecting him, and the two support each other as they rebuild from nothing. College brings him a friendship with Iroha, and a part-time job puts him under the roof of the café owner Nora. That fragile stability breaks when malevolent spirits begin possessing humans, pulling Kurou into a hidden conflict. A mysterious girl offers him a way to fight back, naming him a Soul Caller and setting him on a new path.

Gameplay

Play unfolds through narrative choices that shape relationships with the growing female cast and steer which of several endings the story reaches. Between story chapters, everyday scenes at school, home, and the café balance out the supernatural plot involving spirit possession and Kurou's new powers. Choices affect who Kurou grows close to and how his double life as a Soul Caller is handled.
