Gladiator King

Gladiator King is a 2D RPG for players who want ancient-Rome revenge fantasies with harem elements. The tone is grim at the edges but plays out through a power fantasy of climbing from slave to legend.

Story

Our hero loses his family to the warlust of a newly crowned Roman emperor and grows up on the battlefield trying to protect his last surviving sibling. An ambush separates them, and he's captured by the enemy. Six years pass in prison before he emerges as a gladiator, forced to decide whether he'll live quietly, fight for glory, or claw his way toward the crown itself.

Gameplay

Combat runs on turn-based RPG mechanics as the gladiator fights his way up through the arena ranks. Outside the fights, the game branches toward different endings depending on whether the player favors survival, fame, or outright conquest, with a growing circle of women tied to Roman society and the gladiator ranks factoring into how the story unfolds.
