Overview

Genes of Glory is a pixel-art RPG for players who like sci-fi settings with a research-driven adult premise. The tone stays clinical and curious rather than comedic.

Story

Claire, a top graduate of Glory Academy, takes her first job as a Mutations Researcher at a clinic in Glory Town, studying why nearly the entire population has converged into a single gender. When the clinic's sample extractor breaks down, she has to find other ways to collect genetic material and keep up with the research quota set by the WWHA, all while trying to get closer to understanding the global mutation crisis.

Gameplay

Players guide Claire through her clinic work, gathering samples from Glory Town's citizens and managing the research demands placed on her. The loop mixes RPG progression with sim-style tasks tied to running the clinic and meeting quotas, with skills and mutations unlocking new options as the story moves forward.

Cheat Menu:

An option in the Pause menu (a layer in the Town map layout) that players are able to use to adjust stats/parameters/etc. which will be accessible after players gain access to skills/mutations (Day 24)

Mini-boss needs to be fixed. Proper flags and events are not being triggered.

Clinic : Quota: Autosave not set for beginning of Quota #4.
Shop : Kate and Claire dialogue: Portraits were set incorrectly
Move : Satisfy: Satisfy unlocked after only 4 patients in one day rather than 6.
Skill : Squat. Fixed. Was set to the incorrect mutation. Now will be learned after getting ROCK_STEADY to Tier 4 Requirements
Skill : Pleasure. Fixed. 'Patients seen:' is always '3', no matter the actual amount of patients seen, either by it being more using pleasure or it being a special patient.
Skill : (NEW) Feel. To make up for the previous blunder, I have added a new skill "Feel". See the menu for unlock conditions
Day 6 : Dialogue grammar.
Day 53 : Miniboss Tutorial During the tutorial for special patients it shows the image of a random patient and not Lory's. Note: For now, I have left the finish animation out. Will consider putting it in after I have done planning for future updates. Pushed back
Clinic: Smegma:
When using 'calm down' on a patient with smegma the first time, the smegma sprite is layered on top of Claire's sprite.
Clean has the same problem.
Smega loads in before the dick when u start the treatment of patients.
Skip to End Button: Skip to end of content button. When players press this, they are fast-forwarded to the end of content and into the sandbox mode.
