Overview

Friends in Need is a 3D visual novel for players who enjoy moral-choice dating sims with a darker edge. It plays out with a steady, deliberate tone, leaving room for both tenderness and cruelty depending on how you act.

Story

A man once brought to the edge of ruin by a bad financial decision finds his fortunes suddenly and dramatically reversed. When his best friend and longtime crush comes to him for help with money troubles of her own, he's forced to decide what kind of man his new wealth will let him become.

Gameplay

Progress is driven by choices about how to use the protagonist's resources and how to treat the people who depend on him, ranging from generous to exploitative. Relationships with the game's characters are largely optional, letting players pursue a gentler path or lean into the game's harsher, taboo-driven content. Chapters unfold with dialogue, decision points, and rendered scenes that shift depending on the moral direction taken.
