Forgotten Royals of Astella is a turn-based RPG for players who want a fantasy adventure with monster girls and dark relationship themes. The tone leans grim, with moments of tension between survival and trust.

Story

After the fall of his kingdom and the death of his father, a young royal escapes the siege with what remains of his family, fleeing into unmapped wilderness to reach another kingdom. An ambush by an Orc raiding party leaves three Goblin slaves free of their captors; sparing them proves useful, as their leader offers guidance through hostile territory in exchange for protection from roaming Orc bands. What begins as a desperate retreat becomes a months-long journey to rebuild a lost claim to power.

Gameplay

Players lead a small group of family and companions across dangerous, uncharted land, fighting through turn-based combat encounters against Orcs and other monsters. Progress depends on managing the group's survival while forming ties with the Goblins and other characters met along the way, with story events and 3D scenes unlocking as the journey advances. Exploration reveals new areas and threats as the exiled royal works to secure safe passage and, eventually, a path back to power.
