Overview
Finding Cloud 9 is a story-driven visual novel for players who want slow-burn drama with a moral edge. The tone stays grounded, favoring tension and consequence over lighthearted escapism.
Story
A college student's normal summer collapses when he's forced into producing drugs to keep the people he cares about safe. Balancing his old life against this new criminal one, he finds that money, desire, and intimacy start clouding his judgment. Each decision nudges him toward staying the person he thought he was, or becoming someone who rationalizes whatever it takes to keep going.
Gameplay
Play unfolds as a sandbox where you manage the protagonist's daily routine, splitting time between his double life and the people around him. Choices shape his relationships and his descent, letting you steer how far he bends before he breaks. Progress is paced through story beats, exploration, and animated scenes that mark key turning points.
