Fiendish Quest

Fiendish Quest is a 2D adventure RPG for players who want a dark fantasy tone with monster encounters woven into the exploration. It plays straightforward and grim, without lightness or comic relief.

Story

A heroine sets out to find the legendary orbs said to grant any wish, hoping to save her mother, who has been turned to stone. The search takes her through hostile territory where monsters and captors stand between her and that goal.

Gameplay

Players guide the heroine across a sandbox-style world map, moving between areas to search for the orbs and progress her mother's rescue. Encounters with monsters and enemy groups happen along the way, often ending badly for the heroine rather than in her favor. Between these encounters, the game shifts back to travel and exploration to keep the search moving forward.
