Ethereal Sunder is a 2D adventure RPG for players who want a fantasy corruption story with turn-based combat and a darker human-world backdrop. The tone shifts from earnest quest to grim temptation as the setting closes in.

Story

Eilayda, the fairy queen of Velhal, leaves her forest when a mysterious illness strikes her people. The only cure requires origin resin, sold within a human city's prison district, a place ruled by criminals and worse. To save her fairies, she must survive a world built to corrupt her.

Gameplay

Players guide Eilayda through the prison district, fighting through turn-based encounters while managing her exposure to the district's corrupting influence. Choices and encounters shift her purity over time, branching toward different outcomes as she nears her goal. Progress is shaped as much by restraint or surrender as by combat skill.
