Story

Elise works as an adventurer in the town of Merkmar, taking jobs and reporting back after each one. Returning from a routine request, she finds a girl collapsed on the wrong side of the road, unconscious and in danger. Elise chooses to bring the stranger back to town, a decision that pulls her into events beyond a simple rescue.

Gameplay

Players guide Elise and other playable characters through turn-based battles against monsters and human threats while advancing the rescue plot through town and field locations. Combat losses and story events lead into corruption sequences that affect the characters' standing and options as the game progresses. Exploration is paired with RPG progression, so gear and abilities matter as encounters grow harder.
