Edgefield

Edgefield is a 2D visual novel and point-and-click sandbox for players who want an inclusive, character-driven college story with room to romance who they choose. The tone stays light and social rather than dark or heavy.

Story

You're 18 and headed to Edgefield University with your dad and his new girlfriend and her daughter, uncertain what you want to study but drawn to photography. Once you settle into your dorm, the story opens up around the floormates you meet, with no fixed path forcing you toward any one of them.

Gameplay

You move through campus and dorm life from a point-and-click interface, choosing a male or female protagonist and deciding which floormates to befriend or pursue. Relationships build gradually through repeated interactions and animated scenes, with an in-game phone app adding its own pool of contacts and evening encounters you can revisit over time. Nothing is locked to a single character, so exploring multiple connections at once is part of the normal loop.
