Echoes of Home is a dating sim for players who like slow-building school-life stories with a personal touch. It leans into quiet drama as much as romance, keeping its tone grounded rather than flashy.

Story

After losing both parents, Asahi leaves Tokyo to return to his hometown, where his late mother's close friend Kanae takes him in. Settling into her household means adjusting to her daughter Kotone's guarded temper, alongside other people from this new chapter of his life, including Fuka and Hiroshi. A strange ability to enter people's dreams adds an unexplained thread running beneath the everyday adjustment of starting over.

Gameplay

Play centers on rebuilding a life from scratch: picking a school club and a job, then spending time with the people around Asahi to shape how each relationship grows. Choices determine whether he stays devoted to one person, pursues several at once, or leans toward selfish and unkind behavior instead. The dream-walking ability occasionally opens up separate scenes with the people he's grown close to, outside the normal school routine.
