Druid of Hungwood

Druid of Hungwood is a turn-based RPG visual novel for players who want fantasy adventure with a lighthearted, romantic edge. It favors playful resolution over grinding combat, with a tone that stays warm even in a village under siege.

Story

Hungwood has fallen under attack, and an evil knight has locked away the heroes who might have stopped it. Rodin, a merchant and leaf-caster, sets out to gather allies and free the imprisoned heroes before the village is lost.

Gameplay

Combat runs on turn-based party mechanics, with Rodin leading a growing group of companions into fights against the forces overrunning Hungwood. Not every encounter has to end in bloodshed: enemies willing to have fun instead of fight can be won over through a friendlier approach, turning former threats into allies. Between battles, the game leans on visual novel scenes to build out the party and its relationships.
