Story

A commoner adventurer is handed an artifact by a servant of the gods and told to guide his people through a coming darkness. As he takes up that task, he rises through the social classes toward nobility, gathering followers whose loyalty grants him new powers for the fight ahead.

Gameplay

Players split their time between turn-based combat and managing a small settlement, using land and resources to house a growing group of followers. Upgrading the settlement unlocks new powers and resources useful in battle, while building bonds with followers grants the hero additional strength. Exploration and quest lines tie the social climb and settlement growth together into one ongoing loop.
