Overview
Desert Nightmare is a sci-fi visual novel for players who want a harsh survival-and-submission story with a bdsm edge. The tone is tense and unforgiving rather than playful.
Story
A crash leaves the protagonist stranded in a desert world run by slavers, where slaves have little say in their own fate. Staying safe means staying cautious, though not everyone in this world is looking to avoid trouble.
Gameplay
Play follows a female protagonist through text-based scenes and choices that shape how much control she keeps over her own situation. As the game progresses, players can travel between different locations, uncovering new areas and encounters tied to the wider slaver world. Some paths lead into recurring bondage scenarios, including a cycle built around a mysterious woman whose identity is eventually revealed.
Features
- 3D-rendered visuals paired with text-based storytelling
- Multiple locations to explore as travel options expand
- A repeatable slave-cycle scenario tied to one specific character path
Installation
1. Extract and run.
Changelog
v0.70
What's new:
- Added the ability to travel between locations.
- Added the 2nd female variant to bondage scenarios related to the 1st area.
- Extended the bad end with the mysterious woman to become a repeatable slave cycle. The ending of the path was changed (this way the mc doesn't die). The woman's identity is revealed at the end of the path.
- Some miscellaneous additions: you can revisit the damaged speeder the 2nd time in the first area, you can use the submachine gun against the creatures in the 1st area, you can get back to the guy you stole the speeder from in the 2nd area to find the body gone, etc.
- Reintegrated the slave facility into the game. The start is different. You can only get the latex suit if you go there with the 2nd female variant. There are a couple renders that got reworked, but most of them remained the same due to time constraints.
