Descendants of the Forest is a monster-themed adventure RPG for players who like survival journeys with a dark, adult edge. It plays out with a grounded, tense tone rather than a lighthearted one.

Story

A group of adventurers, led by the player, arrives in a great forest to explore its depths. The land is home to dangerous monsters that hunt them for food, capture them for breeding, or twist them into monstrous forms, forcing the group to survive and carry the journey forward through the descendants they leave behind.

Gameplay

Players lead a party through turn-based combat against the forest's monsters, managing survival as much as fighting. Character creation lets you shape your protagonist and companions, including gender-bending and transformation outcomes tied to encounters with enemies. Defeated or captured party members can be changed permanently, and their descendants continue the expedition, giving the sandbox structure a generational thread.
