Debasing Grounds is a text-based RPG adventure for players who want a bleak, survival-driven world with dark adult themes. The tone is harsh and unforgiving rather than lighthearted.

Story

Civilization has collapsed into scattered walled settlements, and you wake in one such town held together by mud, metal, and fragile order. Power is split between an administration serving distant corporations, local figures trying to keep the peace, and gangs fighting for control of the town's southern district. What you become in this world — protector, casualty, or another predator seeking power — depends entirely on the choices you make.

Gameplay

You build a custom character and move through the town's sandbox, dealing with its factions and residents to secure a place for yourself. Survival means managing relationships and reputation across rival power groups, choosing when to cooperate, exploit, or fight, and living with the consequences of each decision. RPG systems track your standing and abilities as the town's balance of power shifts around you.
