Overview
Daybreak Nightbreak is a sandbox visual novel dating sim for players who enjoy grounded city drama mixed with fantasy stakes. It plays with a calm, story-forward tone despite its high-tension premise.
Story
A young man stumbles into an alternate dimension that mirrors his own city, right as a doomsday cult's actions begin threatening both realms. He discovers he's been given the power to gather his own group of followers, a gift that may be the only thing capable of stopping the two worlds from collapsing into each other.
Gameplay
Set in the city of Chios, the game has you exploring town, running a small business against a much larger corporate rival, and moving back and forth between the two overlapping locales. Side content includes mob-related drama, revisiting an old college, and gambling, alongside major story choices that carry real consequences. Relationship building, light combat, and puzzle-solving are woven into the same loop as the main quest progression.
