Overview
Cyberslayers is a 3DCG adult adventure for players who want a dark sci-fi setting with turn-based combat woven into its story. The tone leans harsh and exploitative, tracking one woman's fall from a sheltered life into a hostile world.
Story
In 2039, the city of Zenon is split by conflict between humans and mutants over dark energy, with Cybercorp training hunters to police the divide. Aline, eighteen and freshly out of the Alpha sector, joins the city police and enters Cybercorp's ranks as a Rookie Slayer. Leaving her sheltered upbringing behind, she pushes into the rougher Beta, Gamma, and Delta sectors, and the world she believed in starts to come apart.
Gameplay
Players follow Aline through story-driven missions and turn-based combat encounters against mutants and other threats across Zenon's sectors. Outside of combat, the game moves through a sandbox structure where choices shape relationships and steer where the story goes, including branching paths tied to an undercover plot involving other characters. Corruption and power dynamics run through both the fighting and the social sides of the game.
