Overview
Crossed Signals is a 2D visual novel for players who want body-swap comedy mixed with romance and mind control themes. The tone stays light and character-focused rather than heavy or dramatic.
Story
An ordinary college sophomore comes across a phone with a strange power: whoever he calls trades bodies with him. He has no idea what he's triggered, and neither do the people on the other end of the line. Getting back to normal isn't guaranteed, and some of them may have to learn to live in a body that isn't theirs.
Gameplay
Play centers on choosing who to call and living through the consequences of each swap, from awkward first moments in a new body to longer stretches of adjusting to someone else's daily life. Conversations and choices shape how each swapped character reacts, whether they resist the change or start to settle into it. Along the way there are lighter distractions, like a returning gaming pastime one character has to relearn from scratch in their new body.

- Oh well, life moves on. In the meantime, Sam gets to re-learn how to play video games, since she'll never get her gaming memories back. Life is haaaaard.

- Maeve has finished another four backgrounds: the gym, Nicole's office, Nicole's Livingroom, and Top Banana. Congrats to Nicole on finally getting her living room remodeled from a sketchy void to a cozy den.

- New Story: Solo Violetswap Days 4-6
- Sam and Violet are still sticking it out as they wait for that body swap phone to recharge. Thankfully, day 6 is when that happens! Surely, they'll use the phone to switch back and everything will go back to normal, right?

- New CG: Gaming with Eric
- This month, Mira had some extra time for XS development, so the sketched mirror CG from the intro has been finished. We also got a couple fun new CGs!
- Sam and Eric spend some more quality time together. Sam may not remember anything about video games, but that doesn't mean Eric isn't willing to teach him. Aw, look at those two.
- This has been a particularly fun update for the team because we've gotten to build out some CDaemon lore. So far we've designed the three starters, and a line of elemental cats. Look at those little guys! I just wanna make them fight other little guys!
- We've also added another intimate CG where Charlotte helps Sam blow off some steam. You might remember that one already occurred in the group swap route, but I thought it'd be fun to revisit it with some new alts.
- New Outfit: CDaemon T-Shirt
- Sam takes an opportunity to add his own little spin on Violet's wardrobe. Wow, what a cool shirt design. I wonder if there's any other things people associate with this particular critter.
