City of Broken Dreamers

City of Broken Dreamers is a visual novel dating sim for players who want a moody sci-fi setting with a mercenary edge. It plays serious in tone, mixing corporate intrigue with personal drama.

Story

Los Angeles, 2042, is a city split between corporate elites and everyone beneath them. A former Ghost, an elite mercenary who has stayed out of the job for months, gets pulled back in after a young girl becomes the target of a citywide conflict. Tracking her down means dealing with old allies and enemies, each shaped by the same city that used and discarded them, and deciding who among them can actually be trusted.

Gameplay

As the male protagonist, you follow the search for the girl through dialogue choices and branching conversations with the people you meet along the way. Interactions with allies and enemies shape how much they trust you, opening or closing off different scenes and outcomes. The game moves between story sequences and animated scenes rendered in 3DCG, with a POV perspective used during intimate moments.
