Candle Daemon

Candle Daemon is a 2D side-scrolling adventure for players who want dark fantasy horror with combat and explicit content mixed in. The tone is grim and unsettling rather than playful.

Story

Jack is summoned as the Candle Daemon by Agnete, a ghost trapped in the World between Worlds, a fractured space between Heaven, Hell, the Moon Realm, and the human world. Bound by the fact that only the blood of a relative can free her, Agnete sends Jack to gather her nine arcana and open the gate to the Jester's realm, a task tied to her niece Chelsea's disappearance and the strange pull this in-between place has on anyone who falls into it.

Gameplay

You move Jack through side-scrolling levels, fighting monsters and monster girls with action-RPG combat while exploring the tunnels and cracked terrain of the World between Worlds. Progress centers on locating Agnete's arcana piece by piece, with encounters along the way shifting between combat and explicit scenes involving domination, groping, and non-consensual acts. The structure is linear rather than open, pushing Jack from one confrontation to the next as he closes in on the gate.
