Burrows

Burrows is a 2D visual novel for players who want a gay dating sim wrapped in horror. The mood is grim and unsettling, built for those who don't mind heavy themes alongside romance.

Story

After leaving his old life in 1920's New Orleans behind, Grey, a jaded possum, is pulled into an endless nightmare by a bartender named Virgil. Adrift among lost souls, he encounters a group of men tied to his former home, a plantation with a dark history of its own. Before he can hold onto them, they're torn away again, leaving Grey with one path forward: dig deeper into what happened.

Gameplay

Players guide Grey through choice-driven conversations and story branches, steering which men he grows close to and how much of the plantation's past he's willing to uncover. Certain choices redirect the story down different paths tied to specific characters, and a minigame breaks up the narrative sections. Progress is shaped less by stats and more by which threads the player chooses to follow.
