Overview
Book of Korvald is a 2D action-adventure for players who want dark fantasy horror mixed with adult content and a side-scrolling combat loop. The tone is grim and irreverent at once, pairing eldritch dread with lustful detours.
Story
A Norse scribe binds himself to a parasitic eldritch entity, forming an uneasy alliance to hold back a hunger that wants to consume the world. Along the way he crosses paths with warrior nuns, mythical figures, and creatures from beyond, each testing his resolve as much as his desire.
Gameplay
Players move through side-scrolling levels, fighting monsters and platforming past hazards while managing dialogue and encounters with the various figures the scribe meets. Combat sits alongside RPG-style progression, and side activities like a drinking contest add optional risk-reward breaks between story beats. Sexual encounters are woven into the exploration and quest structure rather than kept separate from it, with choices affecting how far the scribe gives in to temptation.

Improved Drinking Contest:
- Contest can have up to 5 rounds, if you have unlocked certain allies.
- At the end of each round you have the option to collect winnings, or continue for double reward money.
