Overview

Bodysmith Tales: Hidden Legacy is a pixel-art adventure and dating sim for players who like corruption stories told with a light, humorous touch. It plays out as a relaxed slice-of-city-life game rather than a heavy drama.

Story

A traveling masseur settles into a new city after taking over his own clinic. The women around town all seem to need his particular brand of "treatment," whether they realize it yet or not, and building a client base becomes the thread that pulls him deeper into their lives.

Gameplay

Play centers on running the clinic day to day: taking on clients, working through point-and-click massage sessions, and earning money to keep the business going. Outside the clinic, side-scrolling exploration lets the player meet residents and start pursuing them individually, with conversations and small choices nudging each relationship from professional to personal. Animated scenes mark the payoff for progress with specific characters.

Major Additions
Quests & Story
Added the first story related quest chain.
A dedicated quest chain for Hana is now available.
New Character: Hana
Hana is the first character you can interact with outside of "work" environments.
9 New animated scenes.
9 New unlockable artworks.
New Location: The Library
The Library consists of three "rooms": The Reading Hall & Admin Corner, the Far Reading Hall, and the Book Stacks.
New NPC — Library Director: She is now the exclusive seller of books.
Mr. Bob and the Hooded Lady no longer sell books (Note: Recipes are still sold only by the Hooded Lady).
Gameplay
Mastery System: Completely rebuilt from scratch. Mastery is now split by activity type with a cap of 100 per skill.
Bonuses: Earned every 25 XP.
Passive Buffs: Unique mini-game buffs unlock at level 50 and 100.
Unlocking Buffs: Once you hit the level cap (50 or 100), visit the Library to collect specific materials, then use the Reading Hall to study and unlock the skill.
New Mechanic: Decor
A brand-new item category! Decor can be placed in designated slots within the clinic.
Standard Decor: Provides small gameplay bonuses (e.g., the Censer improves hex removal; the Money Tree increases income).
Special Decor: Unlocks new mechanics (e.g., Cleaning Supplies allow you to tidy up the old basement, improving potion quality).
Management: To replace decor, hold LMB to bring up the "Remove" option. Unique decor cannot be moved.
Legacy Items: Many old items (Mortar & Pestle, Coffee Machine, Radio, etc.) have been moved into the Decor system.
New Items: 25 decor pieces added in this update.
H-Minigame Updates
The UI is now fully dynamic and scales based on the number of animations.
"E" buttons removed.
Separated Animation controls from Technical settings (Transparency, Auto-mode, etc.).
Pages: Page 1 displays in-game unlocks; Page 2 displays external unlocks (e.g., via codes).
Tooltips: Added for all mini-games.
Inventory & Gallery
Inventory Modes: Switch between "Normal" and "Decor" modes. Includes category filters.
Gallery: Now independent of save files. Progress is saved separately and can be accessed directly from the Main Menu .
Other Changes & Fixes

Improvements:

Added machine translation for Japanese, Chinese, and Korean . Feedback is welcome on Discord.
Added an extra save/load slot
Added confirmation message when exiting the game.
Added new music, SFX, and improved visuals for various objects.
Removed the infinite "Clinic Management" quest.
The Cheat Menu icon is now only accessible from the Office (temporary change).
Due to the increased amount of content, a minor rebalance has been made to provide an easier early game experience.
