Overview
Blackwood is a dark adult action-RPG for players who want noir horror with combat and romance woven together. The tone stays grim and atmospheric, built on graphic-novel style visuals rather than lighthearted fantasy.
Story
Ethan Blackwood was once a decorated detective, until a creature of the night murdered his wife and dragged him into the city's hidden supernatural world. Now he works outside the law, taking cases the police avoid, and each investigation pulls him deeper into a non-linear story shaped by his choices.
Gameplay
Players guide Ethan through investigations and combat encounters against monstrous threats, mixing RPG progression with real-time action. Exploration of the city uncovers leads, enemies, and encounters with monster girls, some of which turn intimate depending on the choices made along the way. Decisions affect how the story unfolds, giving the campaign a branching, consequence-driven structure rather than a fixed path.

- Fixed the error where you couldn't start a new game after returning to the main menu from the pause menu
- Resolved the issue of items and weapons disappearing when the game is loaded from the main menu
- Fireball projectile is now correctly saved/loaded mid-flight
- Ethan no longer starts the Flashback scene with a gun and ammo in his inventory
- Summoning the inventory during dialogue is no longer possible
- Big code refactoring. Might introduce new bugs, but badly needed for stability
