Blackthorn

Blackthorn is a 3D RPG adventure for players who like dark fantasy settings with monster encounters. The tone is tense and predatory rather than lighthearted.

Story

Ariana Blackthorn, a young witch of noble birth, must leave her home village on the night of her Coming of Age trial to recover the Orb of Containment from a mansion built on a tear in reality. Success would grant her immense power and a shot at becoming the first Queen of the Witches, but the mansion is filled with monsters and rival witches who want to capture and absorb her power for themselves.

Gameplay

Players guide Ariana through the mansion's rooms and grounds, exploring a sandbox-style layout while managing encounters with hostile creatures and witches. Combat and exploration lead into character-driven scenes where losing to an enemy carries real consequences for Ariana's fate, tying RPG progression directly to the story's stakes.
